Recently, the good news came from the stainless-steel mill of Xingtai Steel. The Ti-Contained stainless steel which has better weld ability and corrosion resistance produced in July last year was first put into mass production. It is the first case of producing Ti-Contained stainless steel by the small billet CC process in China.
The steel is the high value-added products. It is mainly applied in tableware industry, and the finished products made by this steel are mainly sold to European and American countries. During the development process, the company’s sales staff and technicians overcame many difficulties. In the first place, a special team for developing titanium steel is established. Starting with identifying user needs, they reengineered the production process, and used FMEA, SPC, MSA and other tools to analyze the variation and process capability. Through a series of technical processes, the company ensured the production and product quality. It is the first time that billet caster can produce Titanium bearing ferrite stainless-steel wire at home and abroad.
The successful development and mass production of the steel has further enriched the company's product structure and increased the creative ability of the stainless-steel products.
