On July 4th-5th,2019, the 4th Chinese fastener innovation and development forum&China-SAE standards and norms assessment meeting was held in Changzhou, Jiangsu. The forum was hosted by Society of Automotive engineers of China (SAE of China) and C&AP (Committee of SAE-China). Xingtai Steel was invited as the well-known steel manufacturers at home and abroad.
The theme of this forum — “communication, improvement, innovation, excellence” has attracted more than 170 domestic original equipment manufacturers, auxiliary factory in the production of automobile,fastener manufacturers,testing organizations and other units. More than 400 technologies about fastener were shown. 18 experts gave keynote speeches to share their research results and held many technical exchange activities.
Xingtai Steel also took part in the closed meeting on CSAE fastener standards. As an editorial board member, Xingtai Steel included in the review of “Practical Manual for Automobile Fastener Inspection” and put forward suggestions on the content. This manual formulates the standard for materials used in automobile fasteners and leads the quality and testing level of raw materials in the industry, which has absolute authority and guiding significance for the whole automobile fastener industry chain.The editorial committee initially confirmed that the manual would be published in September this year. Xingtai Steel is the only steel mill to participate in editing this manual.
