In 2018, the average life span of oxygen lance was 195 furnaces.There is still a big difference between it and the advanced enterprises.To improve the life span of oxygen lance and ensure the efficient operation of theoxygen lance system, Xingtai Iron & Steel Plant actively tackled the key problem in the life span of oxygen lance.During the breakthrough,technical personnel analyzed the failure mode of oxygen lance under the new situation in detail, found out the main reasons affecting the life of oxygen lance, and developed countermeasures one by one.The life span of oxygen lance is gradually increased after various measures.As of August, in 2019, the average life span of oxygen lance had been 425 furnaces, up by 118%.Direct revenue generation has reached 100 thousand.
After this activity, not only is the average life span of oxygen lance greatly improved, but also the labor intensity and high-risk environment operating rateare reduced.
